“And in the morning, I’m leaving, making my way back to Cleveland…”
– Kenny Chesney, Country Music Superstar
Anybody who thinks Kenny Chesney was talking about some big city in Ohio when he first sang these words has obviously never been to Cleveland, Georgia. If they had, they would know that Cleveland is definitely a town worthy of longing for. On a scale of 1 to awesome, Cleveland, Georgia ranks high.
Nestled gently in the Blue Ridge Parkway, Cleveland is considered by many to be the “Gateway to the Mountains.” Cleveland was also the gateway to the hearts of many young children for years, because Cleveland, GA is the home of “Babyland General Hospital.” Babyland General is the adoption center for the ever-famous Cabbage Patch Kids.
When you take the charming amenities that Cleveland has to offer, toss in beautiful views, milder weather, wonderful people, outstanding higher education opportunities, and close proximity to eclectic North Georgia towns like Helen and Blue Ridge, and you’ve got the recipe for an amazing little mountain town. People come to visit. But by and large, many others choose to stay for life.
And while living in this North Georgia jewel, many new residents experience what most local Clevelandiers have known for years: sometimes it gets tricky to keep the lights on. In other parts of Georgia, consumers may have access to larger electric companies, like Georgia Power, Greystone, or other conglomerates. And while some parts of North Georgia may still have access to secure power grids, residents and business owners alike still must contend with Old Man Winter.
The truth is, when several heavy inches of ice collect on the antiquated power lines that lead to your dream cottage at the foot of the Appalachians, much like it has on the treacherous roadways that lead to your home, there may be nothing your electric company can do for you. But you CAN do something for yourself. And that is to simply pick up the phone and call Anderson Power Services today.
Anderson Power Services can install your Cleveland Generators. We are your full-service Generac Generator dealer, distributor, installer, and maintainers. Regardless of your location. Regardless of your situation. We know you need to keep going. Hail or sleet, rain or snow, though floodwaters may rise, though mud, rock, and land may slide, Anderson is there.
